The Adobe Color tool can be a game changer in establishing some of the most pivotal elements of your brand.
Web Design
Squarespace is our preferred web design software. It has everything you need with great security, SEO, and marketing tools. Best of all you can design professional and modern looking websites without being overwhelmed by options.
Squarespace has affordable monthly plans that include both hosting and web design in one package.
While Squarespace has many capabilities, there are some unique web design features that you may want to implement - Elfsight is the perfect place for that.
They have an entire library of features you can add to your website at affordable prices. Our favorite is the customizable menus. You can find an example of this in our Hurley & Associates website template.
Hotjar is a heatmap software that allows you to see how people interact with your website.
With recordings of clicks, scrolls, and a timer you can see if people are actually reading your paragraphs of text or clicking on the image that actually looks like a button.
Hotjar has free plans that slowly scale if needed.
General Marketing
Canva is an all in one tool - providing graphic design capabilities for those who are not graphic designers.
Not only is it great for marketing but it can also be used for branding and web design.
We recommend the pro plan to get the most out of it.
Uh - oh, forget your business cards? Linq is a credit card size business card you can keep in your wallet at all times.
All the contact needs to do is scan your card with your camera and they are presented with your professional bio and contact info.
It is perfect to have on you at all times - never know when you are going to run into a potential client.
If you are looking to create podcast or YouTube content, epidemic sound has an excellent library of music to bring fun energy to your brand.
They have reasonable plans and an extensive sound library that can fulfill many needs.
Email Signature Generator
Having a professional looking email signature is one essential step in increasing your perceived value.
This tool is easy to use, customize, and implement for your entire team.
Best part? completely free. There is no excuse to not have a professional looking email signature.

ClickUp is our preferred platform for all things workflows and project management. It helps us stay on top of important posting dates, segregating duties, and creative brainstorming.
It is simple enough to use where you can easily get started today but also advanced enough to have robust features even we have yet to play with!
We have used Teachable in multiple ways. From providing clients with web design tutorials to educations webinars for our clients.
There are tons of ways to organize the courses with videos, photos, text, links, code, and so much more. It looks professional and super easy to setup!
There are plenty of calendar scheduling links out there that we have tried but Calendly is our favorite.
There are plenty of features and options for whatever kind of calendar you need. From workflows and logic mapping to simple text notifications.
It’s super easy to set up and looks very professional to use.
Stock Photography
There are plenty of stock photo websites and combing through each one looking for that perfect photo can be difficult.
Dan-O searches some of the top stock photo websites for your search and presents them all in neat folders, simplifying your search drastically.
This is one of our preferred sites for stock photos.
Not only can you find plenty of professional images but they do not have the stuffy stock photo feel you see on many other websites.
Like Unsplash, Pexels is one of our preferred sites for stock photos.
They have a vast library of images and even albums of images from the same setting, creating consistency throughout any of your marketing materials.

Social Scheduling Apps
Buffer is a basic scheduling app but has everything you need to get started.
They provide scheduling across the most popular social platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, while also allowing you to upload multiple kinds of content.
With Buffer you can use connect up to 3 platforms for free.
Later is a more robust scheduling app that provides more tools and options for business owners to closely monitor their social media activity.
Pricing is more expensive but if those additional tools are needed, many will find it worth the cost.
Facebook Business Suite
Facebook comes equipped with tools so you can schedule out your Facebook page and Instagram page content.
It is not the most user friendly and does not allow you to schedule to other platforms like LinkedIn but you can schedule your content for free.
Email Campaign Apps
Flodesk is our preferred email campaign software due to its user friendly design, minimialistic features, but also providing you with everything you need.
What we love most about it is the modern email templates, workflows, and automations.

MailChimp is owned by intuit and can even be integrated with QuickBooks. While it is not our preferred app it is still a great option for accountants.
You can find plenty of great features for a decent price with MailChimp and easily scale with their pricing plans.
If you are a gold, premium, or elite ProAdvisor you can even take 15% off.
HubSpot is very popular in the marketing world and has a ton of applications you can add on besides email campaigns.
Having said that, we find them to be very overpriced making it difficult to scale and use some of their “premium” features MailChimp and Flodesk offer at a significantly lower price. For example, automations and workflows.
